Learners will gain a Crop Technician level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. This course would suit you if you are interested in working in the farming industry and you are keen to learn Practical skills in the workplace while supported by regular visits by our qualified staff.
As a Crop Technician you will be responsible for optimising crop/ plant yields through establishment, management, harvest and post-harvest operations, while maintaining and improving the surrounding environment.
What can I do after this apprenticeship?
Learners can progress into roles such as:
+ Unit/Arable manager
+ Production manager
+ Farm manager
What qualification will I get?
Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 in Agriculture (Crops)
Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2
How will I be assessed?
You’ll need to build a portfolio of work, complete assignments and to pass a range of external assessments.
