If your job involves applying pesticides in a commercial role then you are legally required by the Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) (Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986) (as amended) to take this CoC qualification.
This course can be taken as a combined course with the Pesticides – PA6A Knapsack Sprayer qualification.
This is a level 2 qualification.
The pesticides qualification is divided into 15 units. Unit PA1 is the mandatory foundation unit covering the relevant legislation. The units PA2 – PA13 and PASC involve applying pesticides via different methods.
The PA1 assessment is an online multi-choice assessment conducted on a computer. The assessment is made up of 33 multi-choice questions covering seven categories. It will take up to 60 minutes to complete.
One day training and an online computer test at the end of the day.
