National apprenticeship week is an important date in the calendar for DART Training. We want to use the opportunity of National Apprenticeship Week 2021 to celebrate with all the apprenticeship community, promote the benefits of apprenticeships, and showcase the resilience of apprentices and employers during the pandemic.
Ashley Malia is a former DART apprentice who completed his NVQ Level 3 in Livestock Production. He was an apprentice at Whirlow Hall Farm Trust and is now successfully the Farm Manager managing his own DART apprentice!
Adam, who is a current DART apprentice is studying his agriculture stockperson apprenticeship with us and has fit into the Whirlow Hall Farm Trust team perfectly!

“Having an apprentice has been a rewarding and worthwhile experience, giving a youngster the opportunity to take those first steps on the very same career path we ourselves chose to take brings a hearty sense of satisfaction. It has been a pleasure to offer a platform where Adam (our apprentice) has grown in confidence and skill, they have filled a hole in the team we didn’t really know was there.”
Hiring an apprentice can change the dynamic of your team and help your business thrive! Not only that, you are giving the person a chance to succeed in their chosen career path. We wish Adam and Ashley all the best for the future!
