Study Programme Courses
An alternative to the classroom...
Are you looking for an alternative to school or college?
Are you looking for an alternative to staying on at school or going to college? Would you like to gain key employability skills and benefit from undertaking a work placement whilst studying for a vocational qualification that will interest and motivate you?
Our personalised Study Programmes are aimed at young people aged 16-18 years old, or up to age 25 for learners with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
Study Programmes offer a hands on, real life work-based provision working in the land-based sector.
This DART work-based programme provides exciting opportunities for young people to achieve industry recognised qualifications, skills and experience that can help them to progress onto an Apprenticeship, Further Education or into employment. This provision can even start at any point within the academic year.
All learners are assigned industry qualified and experienced tutors. Our work placement providers undergo stringent health and safety, suitability, and opportunity assessments to ensure a secure and individualised learning environment for all pupils. We have lots of placements that we use throughout the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, South Yorkshire and parts of the West Midlands.
The focus will be for learners to gain high quality work experience in their chosen vocational setting, improve their employability skills and complete a work-based qualification. It will also include Functional Skills in English and Maths at the appropriate level. All our programmes are all currently accredited through City and Guilds.
Whatever subject area or level of course you choose, your study programme will give you the edge when it comes to progressing successfully into your career of choice.
Your study programme is designed to offer a challenging and exciting learning journey that not only gives you the knowledge needed to succeed in your chosen area of study but also wider technical, academic, personal and employability skills.
